
PROGRAM DESIGN
Pirks offers a Hospital Indemnity insurance policy, along with telemedicine, screening benefits and health and wellness coaching. Should an employee decide to opt-in to the program, they will receive all the benefits (including a health and wellness coaching program), with NO change in their take-home pay. PiRKS will lower their taxes, increase health benefits and can be used with current group health plan. Employees enroll in the program once per year and renews annually. Employees contribute to the plan pre-tax. After the employee pays taxes, (Federal, State, Social Security and Medicare), they are eligible for a claim payment. This is a claim payment directly into their paycheck. It makes their take-home pay at or better than it was before the program- and it creates tax savings we call "Benefit Bank". This BB can be used to purchase additional insurance protection without reducing their take-home pay.
